It’s about time Ibiza started to figure on the concert tour circuit. Too often tour promoters shy away from the island, citing heavy costs of transport and hospitality as an excuse. But Tiësto has a special affinity with the island and a few extra airfares wouldn’t worry him none.

From his many years as resident for Cream on the island, the unassuming Dutchman (real name Tijs Verwest) has built up a collection of friends on the island and regularly visits for holidays outside of his scheduled appearances at the clubs. Indeed he hasn't played on the island for the last two years.

However whilst in the middle of a seriously extensive US and worldwide tour – 30 dates in the states alone in the six weeks of summer – Tiësto will rock up at Privilege on Saturday 18th and Monday 20th August for two psuedo-stadium dates for everyone lucky enough to be on the island at the time. And of course all those who are likely to book their holiday to coincide with it.
